Free From Cages: Supporting Trans Women and Community-based Alternatives to Incarceration

Free From Cages: Supporting Trans Women and Community-based Alternatives to Incarceration is a documentary about the impact of policing and incarceration on trans women - particularly on trans women of color - in San Francisco and beyond. This video was made in collaboration with Community United Against Violence (CUAV) and the No New SF Jail Coalition (NNSFJC), to amplify ongoing opposition to the funding of a new jail in San Francisco and to advocate for community-based alternatives to incarceration instead.
